Research and evaluation on students’ emotional attachment to campus landscape renewal coupling emotional attachment scale and public sentiment analysis: a case study of the “Heart of Forest” in Beijing Forestry University

In the era of stock renewal, construction university campuses in China’s first-tier cities has shifted from demolition and to renewal upgrading, which public landscape space is main environment for students’ daily life, learning entertainment. Especially during outbreak recent COVID-19 epidemic, it become an important way students interact with nature obtain emotional healing. existing studies, there a lack discussion on correlation between spatial characteristics updated campus attachment, are few quantitative studies. Based this, this paper takes “Heart Forest” as example, integrates multi-dimensional methods including attachment scale semantic analysis study evaluate that affect attachment. The results show that: (1) Overall, Heart Forest provides positive experiences effectively enhances well sense belonging campus. (2) Among them, material site nature-related elements, materials, structures play role promoting vast majority process establishing particularly obvious majoring landscape, architecture urban planning.
